This Privacy Policy applies to Cranial One, operated by Cranial One Studios Ltd.. Our registered office is at 321 West Street, Cambridge, CB4 3YT. You can reach us at support@cranial-one.com.

We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly and in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What data we collect

Cranial One is a free-to-play site with no user accounts required. The data we may collect is therefore limited:

• Usage data: anonymous page-view counts and session data via Cloudflare Web Analytics. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.
• Contact data: if you email us at support@cranial-one.com, we receive your email address and any information you include in the message.
• Cookie and local-storage data: see our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies and similar technologies we use.
• Technical data: IP address (processed by Cloudflare on our behalf for security and routing — not stored by us beyond Cloudflare's standard retention).

We do not collect payment data, national identification numbers, or sensitive personal categories as defined by UK GDPR Article 9.

How we use your data

• To deliver and improve the Cranial One game experience (legitimate interest).
• To respond to support queries you send us (performance of a contract / legitimate interest).
• To measure anonymous site traffic so we can improve content (legitimate interest, via privacy-preserving analytics).
• To comply with legal obligations where required by law.

Cookies

Data retention

Support emails are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Cloudflare Web Analytics for up to 30 days in identifiable form before aggregation. Cookie consent records are stored in your browser's localStorage until you clear them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@cranial-one.com. We will respond within one calendar month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Third-party services

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
